"Souda Bay" is the name of a beach near Plakias at the southcoast of Crete.
Right next to the hotel steep rocks fall into the sea. After five minutes by foot the long sandy beach can be reached which extends to the end of the road.
There 'Finikas' flows into the sea, a river which rises from the 1300m high 'Krioneritis' (coldwater).
The sea is clean and clear here, sunbeds can be rented. Because of its remoteness Souda bay is highly appreciated by local citizens.
